Cellerciser FAQ
How long does one need to Cellercise to see results? How many minutes do I need to Cellercise each day?
Of course results vary with the person and their consistency. However it is common to see and feel results in your body and even your mood in just a couple weeks doing a minimum of 10 minutes a day on the Cellerciser.
What are common reports of benefits from Cellercising?
We have heard everything from impressive detoxification and weight loss reports, to stories of all-around increased strength, improved eyesight, and better sleep, to glowing skin, shinier hair, and sparkling eyes, to more dramatic health improvements!
Why are Cellerciser products more expensive than the rebounders or trampolines found in sporting goods stores?
The Cellerciser is the premium brand in the natural product market. It all comes down to quality – from the springs to the mat material, from the welds to the type of steel used in the frame, the Cellerciser will last a lifetime – while the cheaper brands can break down in 6 to 12 months. As far as your body is concerned, what you are really buying is a gentle healthy bounce, as opposed to the harsh bounce given by other units. These cheaper units have the potential of being very damaging to the body over the long run due to their hard bounce. (See question below on springs.)
How will I know how to get the most out of my Cellerciser sessions?
Watch the video – in it, you will be surprised at all the fun, beneficial movements you can incorporate into your Cellerciser session! Remember to breathe deeply while you Cellercise – this is key in helping to move the lymph.
Is it fun to jump on the Cellerciser? I don’t want another dreary exercise.
It is fun to Cellercise, and you can also add things you like, such as great energizing music, a TV show or movie, or you can take the unit outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air! Kids love the Cellerciser – and it can really help them to stay healthier in just a few minutes a day!
Do you have advice for beginners?
Don’t start too fast! For the first few days just do five minutes or so of the “Health Bounce” which is simply gentle bouncing without leaving the mat. Breathe deeply! If you jump too vigorously for too long at first you may experience a cleansing reaction which simply means that the body is quickly letting go of accumulated toxins. Don’t underestimate the benefits of the simple Health Bounce combined with deep breathing! It is great to continue this Health Bounce practice for five minutes a day as part of your Cellerciser routine on an ongoing basis!
Can I get a cardio workout with the Cellerciser?
If you run vigorously and or incorporate certain arm movements and/or arm weights, you can get an excellent cardio workout. Your heart and cardiovascular system will benefit, however, just by a gentle Cellercising session. See the video for ideas about how to achieve the best cardio results.
Does the Cellerciser take up a lot of room?
You can either give the unit a dedicated spot if you have a 3 foot by 3 foot space, in a closet, or upright against a wall when you are not using it. If you can however, put it in a dedicated place that you have pass through during the day to help you to use it more often!
Any other advice to make sure I make the Cellerciser part of my exercise regimen?
The best advice is to commit to doing 2 minutes a day on the unit; then usually by the time you get to 2 minutes you are feeling so good and enjoying yourself to where you want to do more! Also consider keeping a CD player nearby which you can fire up with your favorite (dancing!) music to add fun and energy to your session.
Why would I need to get the balance bar?
We recommend the balance bar for the elderly, for many cases of physical rehabilitation, for those without good balance, and for those who want to work very specific parts of the body like the thighs or buttocks. (All parts of the body respond well to Cellercising without the bar, but some people want to add intensity and focus on specific body areas using the bar.) The bar is easy to install and to remove – going on or off in just a minute or two.
What is the difference between the half-fold Cellerciser and the tri-fold model?
Basically, the main difference is in portability. The tri-fold is made for people who travel a lot or who move the Cellerciser a lot, like physical therapists. The tri-fold unit comes with a carrying case that has pull-out handle and wheels.
It seems like one of the main differences of your Cellerciser’ design is in the springs. Can you talk about the importance of utilizing the best springs?
The Springs (by Dave Hall)
The Easy-Bounce Cellerciser® is not a hard bounce rebounder. Most rebounders use little tube springs that can cause nerve damage, knee problems and lower back pain. Tube springs place weight only on the ends. They stretch very little and come to an abrupt jar. The jarring effect can hurt you, like it did my father, and can break the springs. Dr. Morton Walker, in the Townsend Letter for Doctors, warned physicians to avoid the effects of these rebounders. In 1993 I introduced the jumbo tapered barrel spring. It stretches from the middle and the excess weight is gradually absorbed through the tapered ends, allowing the body to accelerate and decelerate smoothly. These unique barrel spring have reignited the benefits of the mini-trampoline. An ever-growing number of medical doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, Yoga and Tai Chi masters and health practitioners use and recommend the Cellerciser® to their clients.
Do I need to talk to my health care practitioner before using the Cellerciser?
It is always wise to talk to your health care practitioner before embarking on any exercise program.
