This is one of the few books ever written on both the implications of compromised physical develoment due to poor preconceptual nutrition, and the restorative potential of enlightened orthodontistry work. Presents evidence for the relationship between the jaw, teeth, and airway, and headaches, hypertension, heart disease, ear diseases, and even bed wetting. Discusses the fascinating importance of nasal breathing as opposed to mouth breathing for health and the critical importance of nitrous oxide released in the sinus cavity for wellbeing. Such nitrous oxide is only brought into the lungs and then the bloodstream when one breathes regularly through the nose.
Alludes to the importance of good preconceptual nutrition and the work of Dr. Price, and refers readers to networks of functional orthodontists for interested readers. Totally misses the mark with respect to mercury amalgams, considers them safe so remember that when you read the book. A very interesting and worthwhile book otherwise. 160 pages, softcover
