A. No, artificial trans fats are not traditional fats in anyway. None of the raw fat that we render is processed, smoked, hydrogenated or otherwise altered in anyway.
Q. Are the lards Certified Organic?
A. No but the small farmers use beyond organic practices.
Q. What is the shelf life of the lards?
A. We recommend keeping the lard in the refrigerator once opened. Lard will last 12-18 months in the refrigerator.
