The grinding mechanism is made from an advanced ceramic that is close in hardness to diamond. It will never rust and will provide ultra-long-life performance. This ceramic spice grinder is excellent when you need fine results for recipes that require ground spices or seeds. The upright design of the ceramic mill will keep your shelves & counters clean from residual grinds.
TIP: When using wet salts, we recommend frying the salt slightly first before filling the mill, to remove any moisture. Most grinders come with a metal grinding mechanism that will eventually corrode with consistent contact of wet salts. However, Kyocera mills are equipped with non-corrosive ceramic burrs and will not be affected by moisture. We recommend this preliminary step with wet salts for consistent grinding performance.

I like it
I bought this to replace my previous Kyocera mill that finally broke since someone accidentally dropped it. I had the previous one for probably 10 years and really liked it. Although this new one is a bit larger and a slightly different design, I still like it. It looks like the new model may be easier to clean even. I use mine for Celtic Sea Salt and wouldn't be without it. I'm grateful Radiant Life carries this item.

Ceramic mill
This mill works well for salt and pepper. I bought it because its gears are ceramic, and it’s important to keep metals out of our food and bodies. Many mill gears are made from nickel, which is definitely something we don’t want in our bodies.

Ceramic Adjustable Mill
This mill works fantastically. We have used it for several years. I purchased several more for my adult children. Recently purchased another to mill coriander seeds. Very useful in my kitchen.
