A. No, we prefer to offer the desiccated liver in its natural non-defatted state, as we try to keep the product as it would be sourced directly from the animal with minimal processing.
Q. Why do you offer three different types of Desiccated Liver?
A. We believe in providing our customers with choice and in offering products from diverse regions around the globe. Because we work with small farmers and suppliers, it is important for us to source from various locations so that we have a consistent supply to share. Our white label Desiccated Liver is from Argentina, the gold label Desiccated Liver is from the United States, and this silver label Desiccated Liver is from New Zealand. All are from grass-fed, free-range cows and are excellent products.
Q. Has the blood been removed from the liver before drying?
A. The hepatic artery and vein, the portal vein, the gall bladder and the common bile duct are removed from the livers. Extraneous blood is allowed to drain from the livers before they are packaged, frozen, and shipped. As the liver is a major organ in an animal, it would be impossible to "remove" all blood.
Q. Is the beef liver organic?
A. While we strive to have all of our products be certified organic, there is actually a lot of controversy surrounding organic certification for cattle. First of all, the process of organic certification can be extremely costly to small family farmers and ranchers who are taking great care of their animals. Furthermore, farms who opt for organic certification can also use a non-GMO corn- or grain-based feed for their cows in addition to a range of vitamin and mineral supplements. This means that certified organic cows are not always 100% grass-fed. Therefore we have opted to use the term "grass-fed" instead. You can be assured that the cattle used for this product are indeed 100% grass-fed cattle and are not ingesting any synthetic pesticides or herbicides. For more information see the paragraph above.

Amazing
I love this product. Liver can be such a hard one to get into kids but is so important for their growth and development. I am seeing a change in my kids energy and disposition since starting them on liver capsules. My daughter is happier and more outgoing. My son has been more motivated in his learning. . Love getting this high quality product from Radiant Life! We opted for the silver over the gold since both are 100% grass fed, just this one isn't from the US. This is a good value for what you get. Will continue to buy this! I take 4 a day (I'm 10 months postpartum and nursing) and my husband takes 3 a day.
