Our Direct Connect Plus water filtration system is an advanced filtration system that features a sleek dedicated drinking water faucet, yet is still easy to install and use. The Direct Connect Plus is also perfect for tackling water with large quantities of organic minerals and/or high levels of sediment. The undercounter system hooks directly into your current plumbing and tucks easily into the cabinet below your sink.

Our Direct Connect Plus uses advanced filters that provide ultimate filtration performance and are cleanable to prolong filter life. The core carbon block technology and ceramic shell combine mechanical filtration and physical absorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants including chloramine, chlorine, lead, VOC, heavy metal and fluoride reduction. The ceramic shell can be cleaned to remove suspended solids and mineral deposits.

The Direct Connect Plus comes with a DIY installation kit which includes most parts needed for installation, including a faucet, tubing, mounting bracket, screws, and fittings. The inlet and outlet are 3/8 inch push-fit connectors, making them easy to add to existing plumbing.

Experience Advanced Filtration

Our Direct Connect Plus Systems have a reusable housing with filters that are easy and economical to replace. The Direct Connect Plus filters should be replaced annually to ensure optimal filtration.

Direct Connect Plus filters are made from a proprietary matrix of multiple types of activated carbon, combined with proprietary Zeolite minerals, structurally bound into a highly porous block filter form. This very unique filter will adsorb and/or exchange a variety of organic and inorganic substances including most heavy metals along with fluoride, chlorine, and difficult-to-remove chloramines.

The filters also include built-in, controlled delivery, anti-microbial protection through silver, copper and zinc elements proven in use through the water filtration industry. Antimicrobial technologies make products cleaner and longer lasting with built-in protection working 24/7 to resist the growth of microbes and the development of unpleasant odors.

Finally, the filters also protect your water system from scale and corrosion with polyphosphate crystals structurally bonded into the porous block. Polyphosphate crystals are an economic and reliable water treatment media that reduce the hardness in water. This helps to prevent mineral build-up, prolonging the life of your water system and pipes.

These core filters are then wrapped in a diatomaceous earth ceramic shell, which is designed to remove very fine particles and a host of other contaminants.

The Direct Connect Plus filters are made in the USA, meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and are cleanable for prolonged filtration life. The filter specifications are as follows:

• >99.9% efficiency at 0.2 microns
• 0.5 micron absolute particle filtration
• Meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the following:
• > 99% Chloramine reduction - 3ppm challenge
