The wild-caught mackerel are taken directly from the coastal waters off of Portugal using the line and hook method, to minimize the unintentional catch of other species. This traditional fishing method utilizes driftwood or other materials—even old rope—to catch a string of prized mackerel. The hand cleaning processing and traditional precooked process ensures the finest flavor and texture. 

Present your palate with boneless and skinless wild-caught mackerel bathed in a zesty Portuguese piripiri (an indigenous pepper plant) sauce, for a gourmet-quality treat with a distinct difference. Alternatively, select them seasoned with mustard sauce or packed in olive oil for a traditional tasting treat!
