Mother Nature gave us excellent source of Vitamin C in the Amla berry - the Indian gooseberry (Emblica officinalis). Amla, honored for over 5,000 years in Ayurvedic medicine for its tonifying, anti-aging and immune enhancing properties, is packed with whole food Vitamin C and naturally occurring bioflavonoids. Research shows that Amla is 12 times more assimilable and creates more potent medicinal effects than synthetic Vitamin C. Two tablets of Amla-C Plus contain 800 mg of Amla, with 54 mg of vitamin C. Camu-camu is a fruit that comes from a bush which grows close to the river banks in the Amazonian rain forest of South America. The camu-camu fruit has a purplish red skin with a yellow pulp. When dried, the pulp becomes a beautiful pink in color.
