Where Convenience and Performance Meet.
Our Direct Connect Plus is an advanced under-cabinet water filtration system that features a sleek dedicated drinking water faucet, yet is still easy to install and use. The Direct Connect Plus is also perfect for tackling water with large quantities of organic minerals and/or high levels of sediment. The under-counter system hooks directly into your current plumbing and tucks easily into the cabinet below your sink.
Our Direct Connect Plus uses advanced filters that provide ultimate filtration performance and are cleanable to prolong filter life. The core carbon block technology and ceramic shell combine mechanical filtration and physical adsorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants including chloramine, chlorine, lead, VOCs, heavy metals, PFAS and fluoride. The ceramic shell on this under-cabinet water filtration system can be cleaned to remove suspended solids and mineral deposits.
The Direct Connect Plus comes with a DIY installation kit which includes most parts needed for installation, including a faucet, 6 feet of tubing, mounting bracket, screws, and fittings. The inlet and outlet are 3/8-inch push-fit connectors, making them easy to add to existing plumbing.
Experience Advanced Filtration
Our Direct Connect Plus Systems have a reusable housing with filters that are easy and economical to replace. Replace the Direct Connect Plus filter annually or at 450 gallons, whichever comes first. If PFAS reduction is your primary goal, replace at 225 gallons.
Direct Connect Plus filters are made from a proprietary matrix of multiple types of activated carbon, combined with proprietary Zeolite minerals, structurally bound into a highly porous block filter form. This very unique filter will adsorb and/or exchange a variety of organic and inorganic substances including most heavy metals along with fluoride, chlorine, and difficult-to-remove chloramines.
The filters also include built-in, controlled delivery, anti-microbial protection through silver, copper and zinc elements proven in use through the water filtration industry. Antimicrobial technologies make products cleaner and longer lasting with built-in protection working 24/7 to resist the growth of microbes and the development of unpleasant odors.
These core filters are then wrapped in a diatomaceous earth ceramic shell, absolute rated to 0.5 micron, which is designed to remove very fine particles, cysts and sediment, and which can be scrubbed clean to restore flow.
The Direct Connect Plus filters are made in the USA and are cleanable for prolonged filtration life. The filter cartridge is NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certified as a component. The contaminant reduction figures below are from independent third-party testing run to NSF/ANSI test protocols, each contaminant tested separately:
- 0.5 micron absolute particle filtration
- 100% Giardia and Cryptosporidium cyst reduction
- > 99% Chloramine reduction - 3ppm challenge
- > 99% Chlorine reduction
- > 99% Lead reduction
- > 98% Heavy metal reduction
- > 96% Pharmaceutical reduction
- > 95% PFAS reduction (PFOA, PFOS and five additional compounds tested)
- > 94% VOC reduction
- > 93% Fluoride reduction - All types - Fluorosilicic acid/hydrofluorosilicate, sodium fluorosilicate, and sodium fluoride
- > 92% MTBE reduction
- > 97% Microplastics (manufacturer rating based on the 0.5 micron absolute ceramic shell)
Rated capacity by contaminant: chloramine 1,400 gallons, lead 1,400 gallons, fluoride 450 gallons, PFAS 225 gallons. Replace the cartridge annually or at 450 gallons; if PFAS reduction is your primary goal, replace at 225 gallons.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What contaminants do these filters remove?
A. Fitted with the ceramic-shelled Direct Connect Plus filter, these systems are independently tested to reduce chloramine, chlorine, lead, VOCs, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, PFAS, fluoride, MTBE, cysts and sediment. Please refer to the Specifications Tab for reduction figures and rated capacities.
Q. How often do filters need to be replaced?
A. Replace the filter annually or at 450 gallons, whichever comes first. If PFAS reduction is your primary goal, replace at 225 gallons. The ceramic shell can be scrubbed clean to restore flow between replacements.
Q. Are these systems NSF certified?
A. The filter cartridge is NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certified as a component, which covers the materials in contact with your water. The contaminant reduction figures we publish come from independent third-party testing run to NSF/ANSI test protocols. The complete system does not hold a system-level contaminant reduction certification.
Q. How is the Direct Connect different from the Direct Connect Plus?
A. The Direct Connect Plus comes with a dedicated drinking water faucet so that there is a specific tap for your filtered water, whereas the Direct Connect hooks into your primary kitchen faucet. The Direct Connect Plus also incorporates a ceramic shell over the core carbon block filter, absolute rated to 0.5 micron, which removes sediment and cysts and makes the filter cleanable. The Direct Connect cartridge without the shell has higher rated capacities for chloramine, lead, fluoride and PFAS; the Plus is the better choice where sediment or cysts are the concern.
