Highly Effective, Simple to Use
This Gravity Countertop Filter is the ideal choice for those looking to dramatically improve their drinking water with a highly portable, simple to use system. No installation required! The very attractive stainless steel device rests comfortably on any counter top.
With this filter you will have ultra filtered drinking water on tap. Water is poured manually into the upper chamber. It passes through the filter candles under pressure of gravity into the lower chamber where the filtered water can be accessed via a tap on the front of the filter. Made from high grade polished stainless steel, this portable, robust model is easy to use and clean.
The Gravity Countertop Filter functions well in the kitchen, where it provides clean water for drinking and cooking. It can also be taken on the road and used when camping or on vacation! The 2 filter unit produces approximately 12 gallons of sparkling, clean water in 24 hours. If more water is required, the 4 filter model produces 24 gallons per day. The system holds 2.25 gallons of clean water at a time.
Experience Our Revolutionary Filters
Inside this countertop system, you will find a set of ceramic filters. Ceramic filters have a long history as a means of filtering water and treating a wide range of waterborne contaminants. While using ceramic filters as a means of treating and filtering water is not new, the benefits remain for many reasons.
Ceramic filters are a tried and true method for removing pathogenic bacteria and harmful cysts from treated and untreated waters alike. Ceramic is also cleanable, so instead of throwing away a filter if it clogs, you simply clean the ceramic to restore the flow rate and save money. Ceramic also retains healthy minerals--it removes the bad while leaving the healthy elements of your water intact.
The patented CeraMetix filters in this system are the most advanced ceramic filters available. Each filter uses a proprietary pore structure that is designed to remove very fine particles, bacteria and a host of other contaminants. Each filter also incorporates an effective antimicrobial element that provides efficient pathogenic filtration. (See specifications tab for a more comprehensive listing of contaminants removed.)
Each filter has a lifespan of about 3000 gallons depending on water quality. This equates to 6,000 total gallons for a 2 filter configuration and 12,000 gallons for the 4 filter version. Replacing the filters annually is the best way to ensure that they are working at optimal capacity. To order replacement filters, please order item number 107033 listed above.
